Arts

"rts represent an outlet of expression, that is usually influenced by culture and which in turn helps to change culture. As such, the arts are a physical manifestation of the internal creative impulse. Major constituents of the arts include literature – including poetry, novelsand short stories, and epics; performing arts – among them music, dance, and theatre; culinary arts such as baking, chocolatiering, and winemaking; media arts like photography and cinematography, and visual arts – including drawing, painting, and sculpting. Some art forms combine a visual element with performance (e.g. film) and the written word (e.g. comics). " Quoted from : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_arts

The nature of art, and related concepts such as creativity and interpretation, are explored in a branch of philosophy known as aesthetics." Quoted from : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art

"scholars in the field define aesthetics as 'critical reflection on art, culture and nature'" - the guiding light in scientific discovery - which should benefit planet earth.

The field of experimental aesthetics was founded by Gustav Theodor Fechner in the 19th century. Experimental aesthetics is characterized by a subject-based, inductive approach. The analysis of individual experience and behavior based on experimental methods is a central part of experimental aesthetics. In particular, the perception of works of art, music, or modern items such as websites or other IT products is studied. Experimental aesthetics is strongly oriented towards the natural sciences. Modern approaches mostly come from the fields of cognitive psychology or neuroscience. "  Quoted from : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aesthetics
